SHOP LOCAL AT EDIBLE JERSEY’S 5TH ANNUAL HOLIDAY MARKET, NOV. 23, 11am-4pm
Over 15 Outstanding Food, Drink and Craft Vendors to Be on Hand at Princeton Day School for Popular One-Day Event
Looking for the best ingredients for your holiday food and gift shopping needs? You’ll find them all in one place at Edible Jersey’s 2019 Holiday Market happening on Saturday, November 23rd, from 11am-4pm, at the Princeton Day School, 650 Great Road, Princeton.
The annual holiday bazaar, designed to celebrate and support local food, drink and craft artisans, is a popular kick-off to the holiday shopping season.
“This is one of our very favorite events of the year,” says Edible Jersey publisher and founder Nancy Painter. “We are proud to showcase these outstanding vendors in the pages of Edible Jersey throughout the year, and this event really brings it all to life as readers have the opportunity to meet and buy directly from the artisans.” This year’s market will also include artisans featured in Edible Jersey’s sister publication, Edible Philly. Participating vendors include:
Previously held in Gladstone, the 2019 event represents a move to a more central location in the state. Painter believes that will be an advantage for readers of the statewide magazine and is excited about the new partnership.
“We are thrilled to be co-hosting this year’s market with the Princeton Day School. We’ve been fans of the school since they won our School Garden of the Year Award in 2014. Their dedication to sustainability infuses every aspect of their operation, from their garden, to their cafeteria and their entire curriculum,” says Painter. “Their location is icing on the cake.” The school, close to Route 206 and downtown Princeton, offers market shoppers easy and convenient parking. A suggested $5 contribution at the door will benefit the Princeton Day School’s sustainability initiatives.
