9 Seafood Restaurants To Try Today
Craving the catch of the day? These Bergen eateries serve fresh fish in style.

Maybe it’s the slightly warming weather (we are happily welcoming 50-degree days after that cold snap) or your preference to abstain from meat on Fridays during Lent. Perhaps you want to observe National Tartar Sauce Day or simply hope to enjoy a more healthful diet. No matter the reason, it’s always a good time to enjoy seafood.
You don’t need to look far for some incredible options. Bergen County is filled with restaurants that bring the best flavors of the sea right to your fingertips. Here are a few options, some of them winners in our 2024 Readers’ Choice Awards and all of them highly rated.

You also can pick up fish to cook at home, but be sure to check out the “daily catch” lunch and dinner menus, where lobster grilled cheese and sesame crusted Chilean sea bass are only the start.
*103 W. Pleasant Ave., Maywood, 201.843.8558 - Segovia Restaurant. You’ll find the flavors of Spain at this restaurant, which has been in business for nearly four decades. Try any of the many seafood tapas, or halibut or red snapper as a main course.
