I wanted to be a doctor to help people feel better. I wanted to be a plastic surgeon so I could modify people’s faces and bodies, in ways big and small, not just to improve their looks, but to help them look on the outside, the way they feel on the inside.

I remain a relatively unique entity in my medial specialty as there are about eight male plastic surgeons for every female plastic surgeon. Considering that 90% of our patients are women, I feel that I have a unique connection with, and insight into my patients, as well as a certain responsibility to them that I take very seriously.

During these times of depersonalized healthcare, I want to get back to putting patients first, with less waiting time for appointments, by giving them my cell phone number and spending more time with them. There’s nothing better than doing what I always wanted to do. I consider it an honor and a privilege to serve my patients, and I never take for granted the ability to change people’s lives for the better.
