Dr. Sarah Fuzesi completed her Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship at Columbia University before joining Summit Health to pursue her lifelong passion for women’s health. A board-certified surgeon, Dr. Fuzesi specializes in breast care health including breast cancer surgery, benign breast disease, lactation and mastitis and preventative care for high-risk patients.
As a member of Summit Health’s Breast Care Center, Dr. Fuzesi is part of a multidisciplinary team that guides patients from diagnosis through treatment and surgery using the most innovative approaches and comprehensive options in breast cancer care.
During her training, Dr. Fuzesi was instrumental in research that reported on the patient’s experience throughout the different stages of breast cancer. In addition to improving the health of her patients, their satisfaction and peace of mind continue to be her top priorities She dedicates time to getting to know her patients and setting clear expectations through all stages of their treatment. Making sure they have a complete understanding of the many options available today and feeling in control of their health now and in the future is a critical component of Dr. Fuzesi’s work. She is proudly affiliated with Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center and Morristown Medical Center.
