Board-Certified General Surgeon Harrison Cotler, DO, MBA, always knew that, as a physician, he wanted to serve the Monmouth County community, where he grew up. He expected to do that as a primary care doctor, like his dad, but that all changed in medical school when, during his surgical rotation, he “fell in love with the operating room.”

Today, Dr. Cotler is proudly serving his community as a general surgeon. “I love that I can help people in so many different ways, from soft tissue masses and skin cancers to gallbladder issues, appendicitis, and emergencies,” he says. Dr. Cotler has special
expertise in complex abdominal wall reconstruction for abdominal wall hernias and inguinal hernias.
