‘Gonna Thrill You Tonight’
Over in Maplewood, a local dance group sends off spooky season MJ style.
The season of ghosts and goblins is behind us, but we can send it off with one last dance! At a local block party in Maplewood, local dance group The Dance Mob, founded by Meredith Miller Higgins, did just that. They treated the very surprised audience to a flash mob of the iconic choreography from Michael Jackson’s Thriller. Melanie Curtis, another member of the group, captured the moment and shared it on her Instagram. “I was borderline messing up the whole time, but it doesn’t matter!” Curtis says. “Perfect is boring, and none of us gets good at anything without first being a beginner who stinks at stuff.” Of the experience, she says, “It was so fun, making awesome memories with friends and bringing so much joy all of us that were there!”
