Santa Claus Is Coming To Town
A family takes part in their favorite seasonal tradition in Morristown.

He’s making a list, he’s checking it twice—and he’s heading to Morristown Green. Morristown’s Christmas Festival is a month-long celebration of the season with music, train rides, crafts and more. Of course, a holiday celebration wouldn’t be complete without the big man himself, so Santa made a grand entrance on Dec. 1, much to the delight of Erin Cockren of Morris Township and her children, 7-year-old Graham and 5-year-old Ainsley. “We go to this event every year,” she says. “It’s my favorite thing Morristown does!” She captured some of the magic and put it on her Instagram. “When Santa first arrives on the roof and you see him wave, it’s always magical,” she adds. “It’s such a great way to kick off the holiday season.”
