Dachshund siblings celebrate the first day of summer with a walk through South Mountain Reservation.
Who says the dog days of summer start in August—or that they’re a bad thing? For the Valdez family, every day is a celebration of their two dachshunds. To commemorate two of their favorite days—the first day of summer and National Dachshund Day, June 21—Nicole Valdez posted this video of pups Cookie Butter and Coconut Butter taking a walk through South Mountain Reservation in West Orange with their dad Roshan. She captioned it appropriately: “Happy Dachshund Day and Summer Solstice!”
