Monmouth’s Best Burger Is Crowned
These eateries have the classic bites and loaded creations that have the county flipping out.

There’s still time to squeeze in a few more great burgers before summer slips away. Whether you like yours piled high with toppings, perfectly simple with lettuce and tomato or crowned with a gooey slice of cheese, Monmouth County has plenty of places that know how to do a burger right.
And with National Cheeseburger Day coming up on Sept. 18, there’s no better excuse to make one more summer burger run. We’ve rounded up some of the county’s best, including the top three selections from the 2026 Readers’ Choice contest (congrats to Barnacle Bill’s on its first-place win!) and other highly rated local spots.
So fire up your appetite, grab some napkins and celebrate the unofficial end of burger season with a patty (or two) worth savoring.
