A Private Concert
In Red Bank, a musician practices a favorite song by a legendary artist.

Maybe Red Bank is synonymous with New Jersey jazz (thank you, Count Basie), but that’s not the only type of music that thrives here. Recently, musician Lucy O’Mara showed off her skills by posting a video of her playing along to “Little Peeks,” a song from legendary British composer and producer TIPPER’s last album before his retirement. O’Mara calls the song one of her favorites. “I’ve been playing electric guitar for about 20 years,” she says. “When I discovered electronica, it helped me learn how to break the rules of guitar. I’d listen to a dubstep track with a bunch of chaotic sounds, and I would find a way to play it.” O’Mara plays and records music with her best friend under the name “Whimsy,” and they focus on creating genre-blending music. We wish them luck and success!
