And The Band Played On
Head on over to Sandy Hook Beach for The Sandy Hook Foundation’s Free Beach Concert Series, happening every Wednesday evening from June - August.
Looking for a mid-week break from all the chaos to let loose and groove to some live music? Well head on over to Sandy Hook Beach for The Sandy Hook Foundation’s Free Beach Concert Series, happening every Wednesday evening at 6 p.m. at Beach Area E from June – August.
Join thousands of people, both young and old, bring beach chairs, and enjoy water view seating. Feel free to bring along a picnic dinner to indulge in while you relax, take in the music, and breathe in the fresh ocean air. While the burning sun slowly sets before your eyes, let your feet sink into the soft, smooth sand with every step to the beat.
Some Jersey Shore acts that the regulars love to sing along to are Tim McLoone and The Shirleys, The Quincy Mumford Band and Brian Kirk and the Jirks. Check out the 2011 Free beach Concert Schedule to see if any of your favorites are playing!
The Sandy Hook Foundation is the official Friends Group of the National Park Service at Sandy Hook and is dedicated to nurturing and protecting Sandy Hook’s natural, cultural and historic resources.
