Jockey Hollow Bar & Kitchen in Morristown was one of only two Garden State restaurants featured in Wine Enthusiast’s America’s 100 Best Wine Restaurants 2015. The Dining Room at Chris Cannon’s culinary hub was praised for its “tasting menus” and “dynamic wine pairings” (particularly the monkfish porchetta paired with Heinrich 2008 St. Laurent from Austria). Fun fact: Jockey Hollow Bar & Kitchen is housed in the landmark (circa 1917) Vail mansion, the opulent former home of Theodore N. Vail, the first president of AT&T. The Dining Room, at the top of a grand staircase, occupies the family’s living quarters.
