APRIL 12–14 Motorheads, this one’s for you. Hundreds of classic cars and vendors will fill Raceway Park in Englishtown for the 37th annual ENGLISHTOWN SWAP MEET & AUTO SHOW, beginning at 7 a.m. each day. APRIL 13 Get a grip—literally. Show off your strength during CLIMB TIME at Holmdel Park, from 12 to 4 p.m. Climbers age 8 and older (at least 42 inches tall) can try to ascend a 25-foot portable wall for bragging rights and glory. APRIL 13 & 14 Head to Asbury Park right meow for the second annual CATSBURY PARK CAT CONVENTION at Convention Hall & Para-mount Park. APRIL 20 If your golf game isn’t up to par, have a little fun during ROVING GOLFZILLA at the Manasquan Reservoir in Howell, from 12 to 3 p.m. Players of all ages can test their accuracy by hitting golf balls through the hands, feet and mouth of Golfzilla. APRIL 25–28 Don’t miss a second of the annual ASBURY PARK MUSIC + FILM FESTIVAL. APRIL 30 The Brodie Fund, which helps pets fighting cancer, is hosting its third annual A NIGHT TO KNOCKOUT PET CANCER event at the Langosta Lounge in Asbury Park from 7 to 10 p.m. Enjoy hors d’oeuvres, dinner, dessert, a vintage photo booth, live music from The Danjos and more at this charity event emceed by comedian Chris Covert. MAY 4 It’s opening day at Monmouth Park in Oceanport, so put on your best hat for THE SHORE’S BIGGEST DERBY PARTY. The pro-gram will have family activities and games, live music, live horse racing and, of course, plenty of mint juleps. MAY 5 Music lovers will dig the sights and sounds of the COUNTY SEAT JAZZ AND BLUES STREET FEST in downtown Freehold.
