At $423,400, Morris County has the state’s second highest median home value in the state (behind Bergen County), but half of the New Jersey residents who appear on this year’s Forbes billionaires list live in Essex County, where the median home value is a more moderate $362,600. But they don’t live just anywhere in Essex County. Two on the list are from Short Hills, where the median home value is $1,725,800. Another is from Millburn, where the median home value is $824,600. Take a look:

John Overdeck, 47, of Millburn, is the co-founder of the hedge fund Two Sigma Investments. His net worth is $4.8 billion, placing him 339th out of the 2,043 billionaires ranked. 

Peter Kellogg, 74, of Short Hills, is an investor whose net worth is $3.5 billion. He was ranked 544th.

Leon Cooperman, 73, of Short Hills, is the founder of the Omega Advisors hedge fund. He has a net worth of $3 billion, earning him the rank of 660.
