“It is definitely a priority of our practice to treat complex hand and upper extremity problems with non-surgical techniques,” says Dr. Teddy Atik. “We try to get patients better without surgery by using surgery as a last resort.” The patient experience at Central Jersey Hand Surgery is unique. A team of board-certified physicians utilizes modern conservative treatments, including needle aponeurotomy, Xiaflex, cortisone injections, therapy, and platelet-rich plasma (PRP).

All of the doctors are fellowship trained in Hand and Microsurgery and are board-certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery as Hand Surgeons and Orthopedic Surgeons. The team embraces a hands-on model as well—the practice’s use of fluoroscopy X-ray machines allows a doctor to conduct X-rays and stay in the room to examine the real-time moving images with their patients.
