Monmouth Schroth Scoliosis Physical Therapy, LLC in Freehold, New Jersey, is the only physical therapy practice in Monmouth County specializing in treating scoliosis and kyphosis in children and adults. Physical therapists Diane Ryan, Karen Cohen, and Rosemary Carvajal are certified in the methods of BSPTS (Barcelona Scoliosis Physical Therapy School) and SEAS (Scientific Exercise Approach to Scoliosis) for scoliosis correction. We are the only practice in New Jersey to use a Spine 3D LiDar infrared camera to monitor curvatures. This unique technology allows our therapists to choose exercises for each patients’ curve pattern and can follow scoliosis progression without the radiation of repeated X-rays. It’s appropriate for children and adults with curves greater than 10 degrees, in conjunction with bracing, as well as before and after surgery. The hour-long sessions teach patients their home exercises and equip them with the necessary strategies to improve their posture throughout the day.
