Dipping Her Paws In
Over in Morristown, a golden retriever gets a chance to cool her toes in an iconic fountain.
Is there anything more enticing than clear, blue water on a hot, sweltering afternoon? After walking around Morristown on just such a day, golden retriever Poppy found the Patriots’ Farewell Fountain on the Green to be totally irresistible. “Poppy needed a cool-down after our walk,” says “mom” Kyleigh Miller, also of Morristown. “She wanted to fully go for a swim, but I only let her dip in her paws.” Miller shared the moment on her Instagram, showing Poppy behaving like a very good girl. “The Green is so beautiful. Everyone is so friendly and wants to pet her!” Miller adds.
