The Salt Creek Grille celebrated its 20th anniversary with the annual Wine & Martini Tasting Fundraiser. All proceeds benefit the Covenant House of Asbury Park’s new “Rights of Passage” program. Covenant House is a non-profit organization that provides services to homeless, runaway and trafficked youth.

Representatives from Chevys Fresh Mex restaurant presented a check for $1,000 to the Tinton Falls-based Beauty Foundation for Cancer Care, an organization dedicated to inspiring courage and confidence in those affected by cancer. The donation will help support the foundation’s goal of easing the overwhelming financial and emotional strains associated with cancer treatments.

Members of Women Build Warriors, a Habitat for Humanity organization, spent an evening at Nemo Tile in Red Bank for a DIY workshop. The sold-out event was a way for local women to learn a new and handy skill: how to properly tile a wall.

The Monmouth County SPCA held its annual Valentine’s Day Brunch at the Navesink Country Club in Middletown, and raised a record $63,000. Attendees participated in 50/50 raffles and an auction that included prizes like vacation and spa packages, and highend accessories.
