Patients know that they can trust Dr. Joshua Strauss, a dual board-certified specialist in hematology and medical oncology. With trusted office practices in Morristown and Springfield, some of Dr. Strauss’ areas of expertise include colorectal cancer, genitourinary cancer, thoracic cancer, leukemia, and anemia. He advocates for his patients and strives to provide each one with compassionate, modern, and individualized care.

I feel lucky to have found such a great oncologist on the first try.” Dr. Strauss graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and went on to earn his medical degree at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he was honored with special distinction for research in medical oncology. He completed his residency at New York University Medical Center and his fellowship at the world-renowned New York-Presbyterian/ Columbia University Medical Center.
Dr. Strauss has been in practice at Advanced Care Oncology and Hematology Associates / Atlantic Medical Group (ACOHA/AMG) since completing his training in 2015. He is a partner with the practice, which currently operates out of six locations with a team of 24 practitioners. Dr. Strauss was voted NJ Monthly Magazine’s “Top Doctor” in 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023. He is ABIM Board-Certified in Medical Oncology and Hematology.
Described as thorough and proactive clinically, he is also a highly regarded speaker. He lectures nationally on topics that include gastrointestinal, thoracic, and genitourinary cancers, while further participating in clinical research. Dr. Strauss conducts rounds at affiliated hospitals, including Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston and Morristown Medical Center. He maintains membership in national organizations, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology.
