Dr. Kristen Gualtieri Blumberger, D.M.D., is a highly skilled endodontist providing advanced root canal therapy at Chapel Hill Dental Arts and other regional practices. Devoted to saving smiles, she approaches endodontics as a craft, skillfully managing each patient’s condition. Since beginning her practice, she has performed over 70,000 root canals, treating infections and relieving pain with precision.
Dr. Gualtieri Blumberger earned her Bachelor of Science from Tulane University and her D.M.D. from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She completed her General Practice Residency at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital under Columbia University and earned a postgraduate degree from NYU College of Dentistry. Known for her empathetic bedside manner, she ensures a calm, pain-free experience by skillfully administering anesthetics.
A lifelong learner and natural with her hands, she was a Juilliard piano candidate and studied Kinesiology before turning her talents to dentistry. Born and raised in Little Silver, she lives there with her three boys. She volunteers with the PTO and EFLS, serves on Tulane University’s Fund Advisory Board, and is a member of the American Dental Association. She also established dental clinics in underserved areas of the Dominican Republic and Jamaica, leading to a published study.
