Dr. Melissa Roberto believes that nothing makes a better first impression than a great smile, and she is a walking testament to that belief. When patients first meet Dr. Roberto, they’re instantly put at ease by her warm, friendly smile and gentle demeanor.

“I want patients to feel comfortable here, I want parents to feel comfortable, and I’m proud of our family-friendly atmosphere,” says Dr. Roberto. “I not only practice here in Rockaway, but I live here and am bringing up my kids here. I am a part of this community in literally every way, and I love running into patients, both present and past, and hearing what they have been up to.”

Rockaway Orthodontics provides a full range of high-quality orthodontic services for both children and adults, including interceptive orthodontics (also known as Phase 1) early treatment to help guide jaw growth and correct growth imbalances in children between ages 6 and 9; traditional braces; and Invisalign.

Dr. Roberto graduated cum laude from Trenton State College (now the College of New Jersey) with a BA in biology and a Spanish minor before attending the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where she earned her DMD and her Orthodontic Specialty Certificate. She is involved in orthodontic and dental continuing education and is a member of several orthodontic and dental societies and associations.
