New Jersey Root Canal has been saving teeth for 30 years. Dr. Brian Trava established the practice in 1990, and later added offices in Ho- Ho-Kus, Oradell and Wayne. Endodontics is the specialty of saving your natural teeth and diagnosing facial pain. This may encompass root canal, correcting a failing root canal, treating traumatized teeth, and stem cell therapy to stop a child from having a root canal.
The standard of care of endodontics has been raised using technology such as 3D imaging, surgical microscopes and researched-based sterilization techniques. 3D imaging and surgical microscopes help us detect extra roots and infection not seen by traditional methods, leading to a higher degree of eliminating infection. Longevity and quality of life are increasing in our population. Studies show it is more cost- and health- effective to save your natural teeth. Children are an important part of our practice.
