A father and son take to the frozen Navesink for a different type of surfing.
You’ll find lots of surfers on our beaches during the summer months (and we’re certainly dreaming about the summer months right now), but the sport is more than a warm-weather pleasure. Just ask Bzh Pierre who, during last month’s cold snap, took to the frozen Navesink River with his son for some kite surfing. In a video he captured and posted to his Instagram, Pierre shows off his moves on a snowboard as a kite pushes him forward and his son holds on behind him on a sled.
