In 1996, Phil Giaramita opened a Modest Dry Cleaners in Red Bank. Business was on the edge of breaking wide open, and Phil needed a younger version of himself to build it into what he envisioned. His son, Joe, was ready to leave corporate America and decided to join the family business. It was a perfect storm!

It was just a matter of time before Joe would outgrow the Red Bank location—now a satellite operation—and build a custom 10,000 SF drive-thru plant in Tinton Falls to accommodate a growing customer base and pick-up and delivery service. He also fully automated the business so customers could manage their dry cleaning right at their fingertips. In 2018, White Dove Cleaners processed 1 million pieces of clothing out of their Tinton Falls operation. When small businesses took a hit amidst the pandemic, Joe took it as an opportunity to offer new services like wash and fold, contactless pick-up and delivery, high-end shoe and handbag restorations, and an APP to make the services accessible. It’s all about serving the needs of his loyal customers. That’s why White Dove Cleaners has been named Best of Monmouth for the past 10 years and is one of the most reputable dry cleaners in the state of NJ!
