For more than 50 years, Dan Gentile has been helping dogs and their owners live happier lives together. As one of the nation’s most respected dog trainers, Dan has trained thousands of dogs from across the country including police K-9s, movie and television dogs, and family pets, earning a reputation built on experience, patience and results.

Inspired by a lifelong passion for animal behavior, Dan apprenticed under some of the top dog handlers in the United States and Europe before expanding his education in Animal Behavior at Cornell University and the University of Guelph in Canada. A member of the Animal Behavior Society for the past 15 years as well as a military veteran, he continues to evolve and refine his training methods.

Located on 10 picturesque acres in Howell, the Dan Gentile Dog Training Center provides a safe, structured environment where dogs learn obedience, confidence, and good manners through proven, balanced training techniques. Supported by a dedicated team of experienced trainers, the center guarantees results for life and welcomes contact regarding any issues that might arise after training.
