MAZZA RECYCLING began as a scrap and demolition business. When third generation overseers Dominick and James Mazza acquired the company, they agreed they needed to steer the family-owned business to meet the environmental challenges of the 21st century and beyond. While they no longer do demolition work, Mazza Recycling has developed into a full-service recycling and collection company serving the residential, commercial, and municipal recycling needs of Monmouth, Ocean, and Middlesex counties from its 55-acre recycling center.  

Further recognizing the wave of the future, the cousins are in the process of purchasing a state-of-the-art system that will sort single stream recyclables. This system design—the first on the east coast—will help resolve the issues we face today with China and other international markets regarding decisions to restrict the import of certain recyclables from the United States. Mazza Recycling is proud to play a part in the efforts to ensure a healthier planet for our children.
