When her father died, Debra Fournier realized that her mother faced many challenges. “Mom didn’t have a clue about managing finances. She never wrote a check or paid a bill. Dad did everything.” Debra soon learned that her father was ill-advised regarding his company pension options, leaving her mother without any retirement income. “It was a real eye opener for me. I knew there had to be a lot of women in the same situation and I wanted to help.” Fast forward 24 years, Debra has focused her practice on guiding women experiencing major life transitions such as divorce, death of a spouse or retirement. After a decade-long career at a major Wall Street financial firm, she eventually opened her own company, Seaview Wealth Management, a full-service wealth management and financial services firm in Spring Lake. Debra’s passionate about empowering women by helping them make informed financial decisions.
