The Return of the Annual Monmouth County Fair

Head on over to the Annual Monmouth County Fair taking place from July 27th – July 31st in Freehold Township, NJ. Enjoy an eventful day and night fun for the whole family!

The 37th Annual Monmouth County Fair is back and bigger than ever!  This exciting outdoor event offers entertainment, themed days, and plenty of food for your enjoyment. You can thank the Monmouth County Park System and the Monmouth County 4-H Association for collaborating and making this event possible.

Spice up your day by attending the event on one (or all) of the themed days and nights! For all the sport fans out there, pop on your favorite jersey and head on over to the fair on Wednesday for Sports Night. Can’t make it on Wednesday? Then join the fun on Thursday and Friday for Cirque Nights. They even dedicated special days as Children’s Day on Saturday and Senior’s Day on Sunday.

You won’t want to miss out on this thrilling county fair filled with loads of activities. Listen to the strolling entertainers, while riding the amusement rides. Enter yourself in the home and gardens competitions or get messy in the pie eating contests! Check out an antique and classic auto show or engage in the lumberjack shows. Keep the kids occupied at the petting farm, reptile show, or 4-H animal exhibits and maybe even learn something new. Be wowed by the horse stunt rider or taken aback by the racing pigs. There is plenty to take part in and this is definitely an event to remember!

As the night lingers on stop by the food booths and settle down to watch the breathtaking fireworks sparkle amongst the black nights sky. As you walk under the pale moonlight, be sure to stop by the vendors and exhibitors and try your luck in the raffle. 

The fair takes place July 27th – July 29th from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., July 30th from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and July 31st from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at East Freehold Showgrounds on 1500 Kozloski Road between Route 33 and Route 537 in Freehold Township.

Admission is $7 and children 12 and under enter for free. However, some attractions require additional fees. Guests may take advantage of the rides wristband for $18 and benefit from unlimited rides for their session offered on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday.
