Two weeks may seem like a long time, but Valentine’s Day will be here before you know it. So, for all the romantics out there, here’s your reminder to start looking for the perfect gift to give your special someone, and even more importantly, thinking about making dinner reservations.

Bergen County is home to a slew of dining options that offer romantic ambience and delicious food such as Saddle River Inn and Ivy Inn in Hasbrouck Heights. Many also have special menus on Feb. 14. Restaurants fill up quickly, so make your reservations sooner rather than later.

Here are a dozen eateries that are catering to couples:

Bacari Grill, 800 Ridgewood Rd., Township of Washington, 201.358.6330. A three-course dinner menu includes selections such as lobster carbonaro, surf and turf and pecan-crusted chicken.

Felina, 54 E. Ridgewood Ave., Ridgewood, 551.276.5454. The three-course prix-fixe menu features entrées like roasted duck, cacio e pepe and surf and turf.

Fiorentini, 98 Park Ave., Rutherford, 973.721.3404. Enjoy live music and a four-course dinner, which includes a choice of lobster tortelli, poached halibut or beef cheek.

Haven Riverfront Restaurant and Bar, 2 Main St., Edgewater, 201.943.1900. Highlights of the Valentine’s Day menu include char grilled branzino, slow braised short rib, seafood risotto and more.

The Hill, 252 Schraalenburgh Rd., Closter, 201.899.4700. A three-course menu will be offered on Feb. 14 and 15, so you’ll have two nights to enjoy main dishes like seared tuna, osso bucco or oyster mushroom “scallops.”

Matisse 167, 167 Park Ave., Rutherford. This restaurant is offering its seasonal prix-fixe menu all weekend long.

Osteria Crescendo, 36 Jefferson Ave., Westwood, 201.722.1900. Chef Robbie Felice is preparing a special Italian-themed, three-course prix-fixe menu for V-Day diners.

RP Prime, 41-11 Rte. 4 W., Fair Lawn, 201.267.0702; 209 Ramapo Valley Rd., Mahwah, 201.529.1111. The restaurants’ regular menu of steak, seafood, salads and more will be available to diners.

Sofia, 36 Engle St., Englewood, 201.541.8530. The menu includes chef’s specials, craft cocktails and more.

Stern & Bow, 171 Schraalenburgh Rd., Closter, 201.750.3350. The three-course Valentine’s menu has entrée selections such as venison tenderloin, sea bass and grilled lamb chops.

St. Eve’s, 611 N. Maple Ave., Ho-Ho-Kus, 201.857.4717. A specially curated menu includes delicious appetizers, entrées and decadent desserts.

Ventanas Restaurant and Lounge, 200 Park Ave., Fort Lee, 201.583.4777. The four-course prix-fixe dinner includes wine pairings and complimentary champagne upon arrival.
