Jason Foy and James Seplowitz have each practiced criminal law throughout their legal careers. Sharing a philosophy of proactive advice and relentless advocacy, the attorneys founded Foy & Seplowitz LLC in 2013. In 2020, the firm welcomed associate attorney Eric Sarraga, who previously worked as an Assistant Deputy Public Defender in the Division of Mental Health and as a Judicial Law Clerk in the Criminal Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey.
The firm focuses on individualized attention and comprehensive legal representation. Located in Hackensack, the firm is well-situated to handle any criminal matter at the state and federal levels in both New Jersey and New York.
Jason Foy is the Immediate Past President of the Bergen County Bar Association (BCBA) and serves as Chairperson of the BCBA Nominating Committee. Furthermore, Foy was appointed by the New Jersey Supreme Court to serve on both its Criminal Practice Committee and its Diversity, Inclusion, and Community Engagement Committee. James Seplowitz currently serves on the Executive Board of the BCBA and is slated to become the BCBA’s 128th president in a couple of years. He also just completed his term as Chair of the District II-B Ethics Committee in Bergen County.
