Start Shopping At These 6 Bergen Craft Shows
Whether you’re looking for the perfect present or something for yourself, these holiday fairs and boutiques have all the gifts worth giving.

Once upon a time, standing in long lines at big box stores and circling lots in search of parking weren’t a part of the holiday season. But as a top shopping destination, Bergen County has grown accustomed to these seasonal roadblocks and headaches.
Here’s some enlightening news: You don’t always have to deal with those annoyances. Before you venture out for shopping madness at the malls, take a detour to one of the many artisan craft sales that are coming up in our county. These holiday shows feature local vendors and merchants who are selling handmade and unique items, many of which make perfect gifts for those on your shopping list.
Here are six upcoming craft shows to check out as you start your season of shopping—and giving:
Nov. 18, United Presbyterian Church, Lyndhurst: Holiday Bazaar and Craft Sale. You’ll find something for everyone on your shopping list at this sale—and you may even discover something you want as well. Vendors will be selling handmade items, clothing, jewelry, home décor and much more. Event hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Santa will be available for free photos from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Admission is free.
Nov. 19, Kaplen JCC on the Palisades, Tenafly: Fall Boutique 2023. Whether you’re shopping for cozy accessories for yourself or looking for the perfect gift for your special someone, you’ll find exactly what you’re looking for at this annual sale. Dozens of vendors will be on hand at this one-stop shopping experience. Boutique hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free.
Nov. 25, St. Mary High School, Rutherford: Holiday Craft Show. Start the holiday shopping season by browsing the handcrafted and homemade items from a variety of vendors. The craft show will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free.
Nov. 26, Paramus High School: Thanksgiving Craft Show. More than 125 vendors will be selling their homemade arts and crafts, photographs and other unique and gift-worthy items for all interests. Food and drinks will be available for purchase in the café. The sale is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $3 and will benefit Paramus Project Graduation.
Dec. 3, Bergenfield High School: Holiday Flea Market and Gift Fair. Complete your holiday shopping at this annual show, where you’ll find more than 75 vendors selling holiday décor, clothing, handbags, vintage jewelry, toys, sports collectibles, video games and much more. Head over between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.; admission is free.
Dec. 10, St. Joseph Regional High School, Montvale: Craft Fair. The school’s annual craft sale will feature more than 100 local food and artisan vendors, offering everything from baked goods and home décor to jewelry and pottery—and more. A 50/50 will also be held to benefit the high school. Event hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and admission is free.
