2 Girls Night Out

There’s lots of daytime fun to be had in Bergen—seasonal pleasures and daytrips, for instance—but who doesn’t love a night out with the girls? The weekend is the perfect time to step away from work worries, partners and kids and let yourself unwind with your friends.

If you feel like you need an excuse to indulge in that, we have one for you. This Sunday, Sept. 22, is National Girls’ Night, an evening that encourages you to grab your best friends to relax, recharge and celebrate your most important connections.

Here are some of our favorite spots, some of them 2024 Readers’ Choice picks and all of them highly rated, for places where you can enjoy your best Girls’ Night yet:

Blue Moon Mexican Café, Wyckoff. A killer happy hour, great margaritas and a special ladies’ night on Thursdays—it’s no wonder why this local favorite has consistently nabbed the top spot in our Readers’ Choice Girls’ Night Out category.

Fire & Oak, Montvale. You’ll find sushi, steak and more at this girls’ night favorite, which describes itself as “a modern twist on classic American cuisine.” And don’t skip the signature cocktails, which are all innovative and delicious.

Five Dimes Brewery, Westwood. Ladies enjoy a good craft beer just as much as the guys do. This Westwood brewery has great sips, great ambiance and live music every weekend—perfect for a casual get-together with friends.

Café Panache, Ramsey. Treat yourself and your girlfriends to something elevated and truly special at this French restaurant. Bring your favorite wine to pair with seasonal soups, salmon tartar and filet mignon ravioli, just to name three options.

So Good Korean Barbeque, Closter. See for yourself why everyone’s raving about the KBBQ flavors and experience. Order from their set menu or mix and match protein options until everyone is satisfied.

The Roosevelt, East Rutherford. Inspired by speakeasies, this art-deco restaurant and bar offers charcuterie board appetizers, pub favorites for the main course and impressive cocktails to sip, all done up in a 1920s aesthetic.
