6 Bergen Spots To Find Apple Cider Donuts
These farms and bakeries offer an abundance of everyone’s favorite autumnal baked good.

What’s the quintessential flavor of fall? Is it malty beer? Delicious pie? Warm comfort food cooking on the stovetop? Apples (maybe freshly picked?), perhaps?
These are all great contenders, but we have another one: apple cider donuts.
Cakey, sweet and laden with cinnamon and nutmeg, these treats are the staples of any autumn morning or seasonal farm trip. Craving this classic bite? Try the fresh-baked offerings at these farms and bakeries around Bergen, all of them sure to please:
Abma’s Farm. There are plenty of fall pleasures at this Wyckoff farm (including pumpkin picking), and you can grab apple cider donuts along with other baked goods in their farmers’ market.
Demarest Farms. Always the seasonal staple, this Hillsdale farm’s donuts are the perfect way to top off a day of apple picking.
DePiero’s Farm Stand & Greenhouses. In addition to its tasty baked goods, this nursery in Montvale is a great place to stop in for container plants.
D’Ercole Donuts. The pastries and coffee are always fresh at this Northvale donut shop. We also love the mouthwatering behind-the-scenes Instagram posts showing off this seasonal must.
Secor Farms. In Mahwah, there are plenty of opportunities at this small farm for pumpkin-picking photo ops, complete with cider and donuts. Before you leave with treats, however, be sure to catch a hayride!
Stokes Farm. Fall adventures await in Old Tappan, with pumpkin picking, hayrides and some seriously good donuts.
