bergenPAC Celebrates Its 20th Anniversary
Since 2003, bergenPAC has been a cultural beacon offering a diverse range of world-class entertainment.

When the former John Harms Center closed due to overwhelming challenges in the post-9/11 climate, a group of residents, led by Frank Huttle III, were determined to save their community’s cultural and economic engine in downtown Englewood. A year later in the Fall of 2004, bergenPAC reopened the doors of the historic venue and soon added a multi-discipline performing arts school.
As home to the renowned Performing Arts School, bergenPAC provides innovative arts education to thousands of students annually. bergenPAC’s Performing Arts School serves students of all ages and abilities with onsite classes while impacting another 14,000 residents with teaching artist residencies, assemblies, and programs in schools, social service agencies, and assisted living facilities across the state.
The 367-seat theater presents 150 shows and community events annually with a mix of world-class and up-and-coming artists in a variety of genres to reflect the region’s rich diversity. Past headliners have included Aretha Franklin, John Legend, Kenny Rogers, Tom Jones, Boyz II Men, Steve Martin, Tony Bennett, Frankie Valli, Kevin Hart, and countless others.
bergenPAC will celebrate its 20 year legacy when the iconic Diana Ross headlines its Fall Gala on Oct. 27. But that’s not all the excitement coming this season.
As she releases her memoir, Cher will take the stage for a conversation on Nov. 22 – one of just five stops on her book tour. Meanwhile, the “Long Island Medium,” Theresa Caputo will bring audiences her beloved messages of comfort and healing in February 2025.
The 2024-25 season also features legends like Dionne Warwick and Micky Dolenz, plus Peabo Bryson and Tito Nieves who are both celebrating 50th Anniversary tours. True music fans won’t want to miss experiencing The Alan Parsons Live Project, The Moody Blues’ John Lodge in a symphonic rock performance, and Trombone Shorty live.
Get ready to laugh with Gary Owen (Feb. 7) and Tracy Morgan (Mar 7) headlining the comedy series. On separate nights, film buffs can hear directly from famed actors John Cusack and Judge Reinhold who will screen their star roles in cult classics Better Off Dead and Beverly Hills Cop on bergenPAC’s big screen.
And families can follow Elmo and friends on a fun adventure in Sesame Street Live! Say Hello on Nov. 24.
