One Lucky Pooch
Clover finds her forever home with the Greenberg family of Ramsey.

Love at first sight can make you do crazy things, but it all worked out for Carolyn and John
Greenberg of Ramsey. When they were browsing a farmers’ market in Saranac Lake, N.Y., a local dog breeder walked by with a wagon filled with adorable puppies. “We were immediately smitten,” recalls Carolyn, “and we were in search of a medium-sized, active and hypoallergenic dog.” She later connected with the breeder, and Clover entered the Greenbergs’s lives.
Clover, a 2½-year-old mini-Australian Labradoodle, loves to hike in the woods, play fetch and cuddle on the sofa. She spends her indoor time watching animals on television, especially dog videos on YouTube and the horses on Yellowstone. Outside, Clover chases birds and chipmunks with great enthusiasm. Though she will join her humans on a boat or kayak, this gal isn’t much of a swimmer—but she’ll always run into the water to fetch a stick.
Clover’s greatest skill is connecting with people. “She’s very sensitive to human emotions and tries to comfort anyone who is feeling sad or stressed,” Carolyn reports. “She will try to lick all your tears away. Since she was a tiny puppy, if someone’s hugged her in their lap, she’s wrapped her paws around their wrists to hug them back.”
