What A Catch!
Father and son team up for a day of fishing at Pascack Brook Park.
Who needs the sea when the catch of the day is available in your backyard? Matt O’Hare and his son, Sheamus, brought rod and reel to Pascack Brook Park in Westwood for a Father’s Day fishing outing. Proud pop captured this video of the young angler catching a bass all on his own. “It was a 10-inch bass and his very first solo catch, from cast to hook to reeling in,” O’Hare says. “He was so excited to catch this bass the day after his seventh birthday. It’s an awesome memory made on a birthday and Father’s Day weekend!” For the day, Dad caught one bass, while his son recorded one bass and 12 panfish.
