A Demarest family heads to the backyard and celebrates one of winter’s simplest pleasures.
How’s this for a little holiday magic? Bergenites woke up Sunday morning to a world blanketed in light, bright snow—the first real snowfall of the season. People headed outside in droves to enjoy it, including Jessica Cloonan of Demarest, who captured her sons and puppy playing in the snow-covered backyard. “My favorite part of the day was having a family snowball fight, and seeing my puppy experiencing his first real snow day,” says Cloonan, who posted the video on Instagram. She adds, “I work in Manhattan, and I drive in and out of the city every day. There is nothing more rewarding than coming back to Demarest after a stressful day and seeing the beautiful snow-covered trees.”
