How about those Oscar noms, huh? We love the spectacle of the Academy Awards, and we eagerly await the debates, predictions and red carpet looks every year (though we’ll keep our frontrunners a secret for now).

It’ll be a few weeks until the winners are announced, and that gives you plenty of time to watch or rewatch this year’s Best Picture honorees, many of which are now playing at Bergen County theaters:

Though no longer in theaters, other Best Picture nominees F1 and Sentimental Value can be watched through select streaming services.

The Barrymore Film Center, Fort Lee. Part history museum and part cinema, you can count on Barrymore for big-screen presentations of classic films in addition to independent flicks, big-budget movies and great throwbacks for kids.

The Williams Center, Rutherford. The odd and eclectic of the present and past find a home on the screen here, including international titles with both critical renown and dedicated cult followings.
