Dr. Michael Klotz is among the select group of board-certified prosthodontists nationwide. He focuses on implant, aesthetic, and reconstructive dentistry with an emphasis on compassionate care, personal patient connection, and the thoughtful use of the most advanced digital dental technology available. Together with his dedicated team, Dr. Klotz is deeply committed to exceptional service, patient comfort, and consistently delivering outstanding clinical results.

Through his extensive training and advanced technology, Dr. Klotz’s patients benefit from visits that are smoother, more efficient, and notably more comfortable. His practice utilizes 3D cone beam imaging for precise visualization of teeth and jaws, 3D printing for accurate fabrication of dental models and restorations, and 3D intraoral scanning to replace traditional impressions. An in-office dental laboratory provides Dr. Klotz with two key benefits. First, it allows meticulous quality control of highly natural, functional restorations. Second, restorations can often be completed with greater convenience and timeliness.

After earning his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree (D.M.D) at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (now known as Rutgers School of Dental Medicine), Dr. Klotz pursued advanced education in Prosthodontics, the specialty dedicated to dental implants, crowns, bridges, veneers, and dentures. He was selected for a competitive three-year Prosthodontics residency at the University of Connecticut Health Center. During his postgraduate training, he earned a Master’s Degree in Dental Science (M.Dent.Sc), focusing his research on dental implant biomechanics. Dr. Klotz further refined his expertise with a fellowship in Maxillofacial Prosthetics at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, caring for patients with complex head and neck cancer needs. At MSKCC, he achieved board certification in Prosthodontics, the specialty’s highest distinction. He has published in peer-reviewed journals, lectured nationally, and remains active in numerous dental organizations. Currently, he serves as the Secretary of the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics, internationally known as one of the most prestigious prosthodontics organizations.

While Dr. Klotz’s practice centers on prosthodontics, they also provide comprehensive care for patients of all ages. “I chose Prosthodontics to help patients with complex dental challenges while fulfilling my passion for restoring comfort, confidence, and function,” says Dr. Klotz. His greatest reward is delivering transformative dentistry and building trusted, long-term relationships with patients, many of whom have remained with his practice for decades.
