A young hairstylist learns that her boyfriend is also her best client.
Training for a career can be tricky, but it helps to know someone has your back. For Bergen County’s Stefanie Callahan, support from her boyfriend, Chris, played a large part as she went through beauty school to become a licensed cosmetologist and traveling hairstylist. Callahan continues to fine tune her grooming skills on her boyfriend, who plays the role of “customer” as he sits for haircuts and shaves. She posted this video of her working with Chris, captioning it: “My forever model, my favorite canvas.” Callahan adds: “He was with me before when I was in a different career and then changed my mind in my mid-20s. So for him to be my client is just my career coming full circle with him as my boyfriend, biggest support and client.”
