How are your fitness resolutions going? If you’ve already hit the proverbial wall while trying to get back into shape, try working out with a partner. Franklin Lakes’ Ty Franco stays in tip-top shape by working out with his friend, Shannon Shortway. Franco posted this video of him and Shortway doing a functional strength session that supports physique goals and real-world strength.

“It was very much a team energy workout where we pushed each other while keeping it fun,” says Franco. “Working out with a partner has huge benefits. It builds accountability, improves consistency and usually increases intensity in a positive way because you naturally encourage one another. It also makes fitness more social and sustainable, which is key for long term results.” It looks like fun too!
