Everyone loves a parade, and we all enjoyed St. Patrick’s Day festivities this month in Rutherford and Bergenfield, among other places. But a recent procession through downtown Ramsey was extra special. Resident Kaitlin Dunn posted this video on Instagram, capturing the moment the Ramsey High School boys’ basketball team returned to town after winning its first state sectional championship in 76 years. The squad won the title with a 68-57 victory over Rumson-Fair Haven in a game that took place last Saturday at Rutgers University. The warm welcome, Dunn says, was true to Ramsey’s spirit. “Because when the team makes a run for the state title, the whole town is right there with them,” she wrote. “From the stands to Main Street, this community shows up!” Congrats to Ramsey!
