Warm Welcome
The Ramsey community comes out to celebrate its state champions.

Everyone loves a parade, and we all enjoyed St. Patrick’s Day festivities this month in Rutherford and Bergenfield, among other places. But a recent procession through downtown Ramsey was extra special. With a view from Brady’s at the Station restaurant, resident Kaitlin Dunn posted this video on Instagram, capturing the moment the Ramsey High School boys’ basketball team returned to town after winning its first state sectional championship in 76 years. The squad won the title with a 68-57 victory over Rumson-Fair Haven in a game that took place last Saturday at Rutgers University. The warm, impromptu welcome, Dunn says, was true to Ramsey’s spirit. “It makes you really proud to be part of this Title Town,” Dunn says. “The support, the energy—you don’t get that everywhere. This is what truly makes this town so special.” Congrats to Ramsey!
