5 Brunch Spots To Treat Mom
Because she deserves the best, make your reservations today for a Mother’s Day feast sure to please.

If you’re blinking in surprise at the date, you’re not alone—May snuck up on all of us this year. Now that it’s arrived, here’s something you really shouldn’t let sneak up on you—Mother’s Day is a week from Sunday, on May 10. But don’t panic, you still have time!
There are, of course, endless ways to celebrate and treat Mom. However, many people’s go-to for this occasion is a delicious brunch spread. One you make yourself—or one from one of Bergen’s fantastic restaurants.
Tables at these eateries fill up fast on Mother’s Day (they’re recent Readers’ Choice Award nods for a reason). So don’t wait—make sure you call and make reservations for:
Farm & Flour. Our Best Brunch runner up in 2025, this spot is all cozy ambiance and comforting bites with a twist. Order up pancakes, French toast or eggs any way you want them, or opt for a fresh salad, smash burger or delicious sandwich.
*434-436 Pulis Ave., Franklin Lakes, 201.942.2066
Giovanna’s Café. Tucked off of Ramsey’s Main Street is this option, a go-to for comfort food and mouthwatering favorites (it also has extensive gluten free options!). If you’d prefer to stay home for Mother’s Day, you can order the Brunch-To-Go and pick up quiche, French toast casserole and more to enjoy with the whole family.
*19 E. Main St., Ramsey, 201.825.5835
Graze. Eggs Benedict, pancakes, French toast and bespoke omelets are just the start at this eatery, which prides itself on “redefining the brunch experience.” Don’t skip the coffee drinks, which are all simple and delicious, and check out the catering menu if you’d rather bring brunch to Mom rather than Mom to brunch.
*611 N. Maple Ave., Ho-Ho-Kus, 201.543.0144
Maywood Pancake House. This spot’s specialty is right in the name. Order pancakes piled in fresh fruit, Nutella, whipped cream and more (there are also gluten-free and vegan options). Or you can order French toast, waffles, breakfast sandwiches—something for every taste, and something that’s sure to please Mom.
*92 W. Pleasant Ave., Maywood, 201.880.7842
Willow and Whisk. A perennial Best Brunch winner, the lemon ricotta pancakes (served with blueberries, of course) are the stuff of legends. If you’re craving the more “lunch” side of brunch, you can also choose from burgers, paninis and salads. Don’t forget to browse the drinks on the seasonal spring menu—think colorful, fruit-forward and refreshing.
