Grilled Calamari Recipe
This easy recipe for grilled calamari includes lemon, oregano and garlic.

Serves 5
Ingredients
- 1 lb calamari, cleaned and rinsed
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp grated lemon rind
- 1 tsp each of salt and pepper
- 3 Tbsp lemon juice
- 3 Tbsp fresh oregano, fresh oregano
- Lemon Wedges
Directions
1. In large bowl, combine olive oil, garlic, lemon rind, lemon juice, oregano, salt, pepper and whisk together.
2. Cut calamari tentacles from tubes. Score top layer of each tube a few times.
3. Add tentacles and tubes to bowl with marinade.
4. Toss to cover calamari with marinate, cover and refrigerate for 20-30 minutes.
5. Place on greased grill over high heat.
6. Close lid and cook quickly, turning once, for 2 minutes. Try not to overcook!
7. Serve with lemon to squeeze over top.
