3 Vegan Bakeries To Try In Bergen
Yummy egg-free and dairy-free baked goods are easy to come by in Bergen County. Here are three vegan bakeries to try.

No dairy and no eggs doesn’t have to mean no fun. Veganism, which means you don’t consume any animal products, is a major diet these days. Some people go vegan by choice, while others have medical conditions that may make them more sensitive to eggs or milk products. So, of course, many restaurants, cafés and bakeries are jumping aboard the vegan train and offering menu items that are made without eggs, cream or milk.
Here are three vegan bake shops in Bergen that are worth checking out:
Bradley Bake Shop in Bogota is gluten-free through and through. Though not everything on the menu is vegan, their vegan menu is abundant (and delish), with offerings such as chocolate chip cookies, chocolate or vanilla cake with buttercream and a mini carrot cake. They have sugar-free and keto-friendly menus as well.

Sweet Avenue Bake Shop in Rutherford is 100 percent vegan, and some products are made without gluten and soy too. Their specialty is their cupcakes (the “Old Skool Cupcake” is a vegan version of the Hostess ones from your childhood) as well as their 6-inch cakes that come in tons of flavors, from red velvet to carrot to strawberry shortcake to cookies and cream.

Vegan Pastry Lab in Englewood is newest to the vegan lineup in Bergen County. They offer pastries that are baked daily, in addition to donuts, cinnamon rolls, cookies, brownies and babka. P.S.: There are gluten-free options here too.
