A Birthday Bash To Remember
While this Carlstadt youngster got his cake and birthday wishes, his family enjoyed a special moment that celebrated their family history.
For the youngest ones, a birthday means many presents and lots of cake—and that’s great! For parents, however, each celebration is a memorable moment to cherish. Mom Oana Gusciora of Carlstadt posted this sweet photo from her son Nicolai’s third birthday party earlier this month. As Nicolai, whose name is inspired by the festive spirit of Saint Nicholas, laughed and blew out the candles on his cake, Gusciora noted something special that happened. “The sweet melody of the ‘Happy Birthday’ song resonated in the three languages spoken in our home—Polish, Romanian and English—creating a harmonious symphony that reflected our diverse, loving household,” she tells BERGEN. “Blowing out the candles became a cherished ritual, a moment of pure delight that we repeated at least five times, each instance filled with the joy and magic of Nicolai’s radiant smile.” Happy birthday, Nicolai!
