A Cut Above

Ridgewood barber shop offers men a more luxurious way to get a cut.

You might think your $10 haircut is a steal, but remember that you get what you pay for. Up your grooming game at The Ridgewood Man, the new shop from the owners of The Hoboken Man, a popular men’s salon rooted in the Hudson County city. Gentlemen can sit back and enjoy the salon services, ranging from haircuts and wet shaves to manicures and facials and other spa treatments. It’s all offered in a shop that combines the feel of a traditional barbershop (wood panels with chrome accents) with the modern vibe of an upscale salon (HD flat-panel TVs, anyone?).

“I went in for the first time and thought I’d get a regular haircut,” says Ridgewood resident Renato Reyes, 28. “But what I got is a new hairstyle that I love and plan to keep. I’m glad I decided to try it.”
