Hiking is always better with friends, whether they’re human for four-legged. So, when Florence Chen decided to take a day trip to Allison Park in Englewood Cliffs, she took more than just her own corgi, Millie. “The other dogs are Bruce, Ellie and Sam,” she says. “Mille is my dog, and the rest belong to my friends.” They decided to take advantage of the beautiful day and hike the Carpenter’s Loop trail for the views and the small waterfall—and Chen posted a great photo of all the dogs in front of it. “The day was beautiful. It was the perfect weather for hiking,” says Chen. “The trail was also a perfect balance. It was easy enough for all the dogs, even Millie with her short legs. It was a great reward for minimal effort!” She also says that this excursion was a big day for Millie: “She’s usually a couch potato!”
