Acoustic Saturdays at the Red Bank Library

The Red Bank Public Library’s Acoustic Saturdays series continues its third season on November 26, 2011, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. with a performance by John Siehl.

A guitar and mandolin player as well as a vocalist, John has opened for Tom Paxton, Dave Van Ronk, Artie Traum, and others. The library presents this series featuring the best singers, songwriters, and acoustic musicians on the Jersey Shore and beyond on the last Saturday of the month from September to November and January to May.

The Acoustic Saturdays programs at the library are produced and hosted by Anton Daub, the emcee of the weekly acoustic open microphone on Wednesday nights at Espresso Joe’s coffeehouse in Keyport and a frequent performer at many of the area’s acoustic music venues. These free performances are supported by funds from the New Jersey State Library.
