All Hands In For 3 Years!
A Waldwick family marks an milestone anniversary for a very special pup.
Two years ago, when the Wejnert family of Waldwick—Lora and her husband, Jason, and their three children Lily, Logan and Leah—decided to adopt a rescue dog, many people asked “Why?” according to Lora. Two of the kids were in college, so from an outsider’s perspective, it didn’t seem like the right time. In response, Lora said, “Why wouldn’t we?” And so Jax entered their lives, and the family hasn’t looked back since. On a recent bright day in July, they celebrated the pup’s third birthday with an “All Hands” video, which Lora shared on Instagram. After a second’s hesitation, Jax adds his paw to the stack of hands, to the delight of all his people. “Jax is a kind dog,” says Lora, adding that the pooch also loves walks, fetch, snuggling and frozen blueberries.
